Evaluation

Jack is an athletic player who displayed good overall tools and physical ability throughout the evaluation. He ran a 7.1-second 60-yard dash, showcasing above-average athleticism, and his size combined with his ability to move well gives him a solid foundation to continue developing. Defensively, Jack should continue to improve his approach to and through the baseball, focusing on creating better angles and more efficient footwork. He would also benefit from becoming more comfortable utilizing different arm slots to improve his ability to make accurate throws from various fielding positions. Offensively, I would encourage Jack to maintain his current setup while making adjustments to his approach in order to keep the barrel in the hitting zone longer and create more consistent quality contact. With continued refinement of his defensive fundamentals and offensive approach, Jack has the physical tools and athleticism to continue progressing at the next level.
