Hudson Zengen

Evaluation

Hudson Zengen is an undersized middle infielder who plays with solid defensive instincts and shows a dependable glove. He works well through the baseball, consistently getting below it and maintaining good body control while finishing plays. His actions in the infield are fundamentally sound, giving him the ability to make routine plays consistently. Offensively, Hudson’s swing has some positive traits, but he needs to improve his ability to consistently find the barrel and produce harder contact. He posted a 7.7-second 60-yard dash, so continuing to improve his overall strength and explosiveness will be important as he develops. With added physical strength and continued offensive refinement, Hudson has the tools to elevate his game and become a more complete middle infielder.
