Good footwork when attacking the baseball with fundamentally sound defensive actions. Average range with below-average arm strength at this stage. Continuing to develop arm strength will help improve overall defensive value, particularly from the outfield. At the plate, there is a need to sit back longer and maintain the load position. The hands became a little jumpy at times, leading to an early start to the swing. Keeping the hands inside the baseball and holding the load longer will allow for better timing and more consistent barrel contact. Overall, a solid foundation with plenty of room for physical development. Continued strength gains, especially in the upper body, should translate well to both defensive arm strength and offensive production.
