Justin Rader

Evaluation

Jr. Fire55 2026:

At the plate, Justin has some natural feel but the swing is currently a little long. Shortening the path and creating a more direct route to the baseball will help improve his ability to consistently square pitches up. Working toward a more controlled inside-out path should allow him to stay through the baseball longer and use the entire field. Continued development of his timing, balance, and ability to recognize pitches will be important as he progresses. Focusing on getting into a strong hitting position early and maintaining control throughout the swing will help create a more repeatable approach.
