In the field, shows good footwork around the bag and getting to balls to his left and right. Can let the ball get too deep on him rather than out in front consistently, which makes for slower play development and increases chance of mishandles. At the plate, while displaying good raw power, can at times swing over pitches due to an uphill swing and more arms reliant swing, causing them to top or hook the baseball more often.
