Player Payment Policies

Reminder: Registrations and payments are accepted on a “First Come – First Serve” basis.
To secure your spot in any of our player showcases, full payment must be made.

Unforeseen circumstances can sometimes impact player showcase schedules, including weather-related conditions, contracted venue closures, staffing-related incidents, or other circumstances outside the control of Firecracker Sports.

Through our partnership with ViCoverage, Firecracker Sports offers participants the option to purchase coverage that may protect their registration fee when qualifying circumstances impact their games or participation.

This coverage is optional. If you choose not to purchase ViCoverage, Firecracker Sports will not issue refunds or credits for games lost, shortened, canceled, or otherwise impacted by weather or other circumstances outside of Firecracker Sports’ control.

Examples of circumstances outside our control may include, but are not limited to:

Weather-related conditions
Contracted venue closures or facility availability issues
Staffing-related incidents
Field or facility conditions
Other unforeseen circumstances that prevent or limit scheduled play

We encourage participants to carefully review the ViCoverage option during registration and consider purchasing coverage if they would like additional protection for their registration fee.

By declining the optional ViCoverage protection, you acknowledge that Firecracker Sports will not provide a refund or credit for registration fees due to circumstances outside of our control.

REFUND PROTECTION – Protect the Player

Firecracker Sports has partnered with ViCoverage, powered by Vertical Insure, to offer optional Refund Protection on eligible registrations.

Refund Protection may reimburse eligible registration fees when a player is unable to participate due to a covered circumstance. Coverage protects the player both on and off the field for eligible circumstances such as unexpected injury or illness, job loss or relocation, or active military duty.

Coverage must be purchased before the injury, illness, or other covered circumstance occurs and is not retroactive.

EVENT CANCELLATION COVERAGE – Protect the Tournament Registration

Optional Event Cancellation Coverage is available for eligible tournament registrations and may provide reimbursement when an event is canceled or impacted by a covered circumstance, including unsafe weather and certain qualifying roster or severe weather-related travel disruptions.

Event Cancellation Coverage must be purchased at least 15 days prior to the start of the event. Coverage is not retroactive and cannot be purchased after a covered circumstance has occurred.

ViCoverage coverage is separate from Firecracker Sports’ refund, weather, cancellation and credit policies. Coverage terms, conditions and exclusions apply.

Refund Protection may reimburse eligible registration fees if your player is unable to participate due to a covered circumstance. Coverage applies to eligible circumstances both on and off the field, including unexpected injury or illness and other covered events.

Refund Protection must be purchased before the injury, illness, or other covered circumstance occurs. It cannot be purchased retroactively after something has already happened.

ACCIDENT & INJURY – Helps Protect Against Medical Expenses

Accident & Injury Coverage may help reimburse eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses when a player is injured while participating in a sanctioned, registered program or activity.

Unlike Refund Protection, which protects eligible registration fees for covered circumstances that may occur on or off the field, Accident & Injury is specifically designed for eligible injuries occurring during the sanctioned, registered program or activity.

Coverage is not retroactive and cannot be purchased after an injury has already occurred. Coverage terms, conditions and exclusions apply.

Accident & Injury Coverage may help reimburse eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses resulting from a covered accident or injury during the covered period.

Coverage is not retroactive. It must be purchased before an injury, illness, or other covered circumstance occurs. Coverage terms, conditions and exclusions apply.
