2027 Northeast Baseball League – Premier Division (Spring Season)

Available for teams from MA, RI and CT!

• Registration Fee: $399.00 per team.
• Divisions: 10U - 14U
• Sub-Divisions:
  • Premier division has a limit of 8 teams per age group.
• Travel: Extended from open division, to roughly 1hr 30min max to allow for equally skilled competition.
• Rules: Please see tab above for all league rules per age group
• Meetings: Pre-season and in season monthly meetings with coaches and program directors.
• Home Field: Teams are required to have a home field in order to get scheduled in this league.
• Schedule: 14 league games (7 DH's) plus playoffs scheduled.
  • All games will be scheduled on Saturday (dates listed on schedule tab)
  • Ability to play more "non-league" games for those who want 30+ games for their overall schedule.
  • Firecracker Sports will provide schedules for all teams with dates/times and location.
  • If teams decide to modify their date/time to a Sunday, or another date, they will need to to report this to Firecracker Sports, by emailing operations@firecrackersports.com, for the game to be posted on the League website and verify umpires are scheduled.
• GameChanger: All League games will be scored using GameChanger. Teams are required to score their games using the app.
• Social Media Player Promotion: Teams also will send in a player of the game, for each game played on this form. Players will then be selected to be Player of the Week, for each age division on social media. This must be submitted by Tuesday at 12PM weekly.

Special Notes:

• Playoffs: All teams qualify for the playoffs provided they meet league rules (must play at least 10 league games)
  • Once regular season ends, ALL teams qualify and will be placed into playoff brackets.
  • Teams that forfeit or do not reschedule games with their opponent during regular season, will NOT qualify for playoffs
  • All playoff rounds are best of 3 series through the championship.
• Championships: The higher seed in each playoff round will host each game of the round. The league will provide trophies with social media exposure for each championship round for 2027.
• New for 2027...Players will have more of an opportunity to gain evaluation for Futures55, the premier showcase of the summer at Dunkin Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. Fire55 is for rising juniors/seniors; Jr.Fire55 is for rising freshmen/sophomores but Futures55 is for 9U-12U from our leagues and also youth events annually. Our League MVP's will be invited to attend FuturesFire55, which includes the reception on August 3rd where they will be receiving their MVP trophy but also the All league teams will be invited. On Wednesday, August 4th, we will be on the field at Dunkin Park with a skills camp with college coaches, compeitions, BP, HR Derby and much more!
